TATA MOTORS has announced to launch a Tata Hexa in the market in October 2016. Tata motors added a new features in the new tata hexa car which will be beneficial for the customer.
Tata Hexa was firstly showcased as a at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and made its India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi early this year. Though the concept was 6-seater, the final production model is likely to also come with 7-seat (2+2+3) configuration.The Tata Hexa is the long-time replacement of the Tata Aria car, and will serve as a Tata’s newest flagship in India. It measures the 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.
The exterior comprises of black plastic cladding and side sills, projector headlamps, signature LED DRLs and dual exhaust tailpipes and many more .The Tata hexa will derive its power from a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel mill, and will be offered with a manual and an Automated Manual Transmission options. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 154.2bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. It comes equipped with four-wheel drive (4WD) system.
Two gearbox options will be on offer on it, a Manual and another is an Automatic, both being six-speed units. Top-spec trims will come with massive 19-inch alloy wheels and 235/55 R19 tyres. The Hexa will come with Vehicle Dynamic Control, TCS, Engine Drag Control and a total of six airbags. The Hexa shares its underpinnings with the Tata Aria. The hexa Interiors get a dual-tone treatment and features on offer will include a Harman infotainment system(HIS) that consists of a 5.0-inch touchscreen unit. This system will be 10-speakers set up by the JBL in the top-end model.
